SOLUTION FOCUSED LEGAL THINKING
We are dedicated, experienced policy experts with a proven track record of accomplishing our client’s goals. Combined, we have decades of experience working to put in place policies to protect air quality, reduce GHG emissions, and protect public health and the environment.
WE HAVE DESIGNED LEADING POLICIES TO REDUCE GHGs FROM SOME OF THE WORLD’S LARGEST INDUSTRIAL SOURCES
We have successfully helped design and implement policies to reduce GHGs and other air pollutants from oil and natural gas activities and minimize surface impacts associated with oil and gas development. Elizabeth has helped Environmental Defense Fund successfully lobby for state, federal and international clean air and climate policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from oil and natural gas activities for over a decade.
WE HELP CLIENTS ANALYZE COMPLEX LEGAL AND REGULATORY FRAMEWORKS
Drawing on a deep understanding of the oil and natural gas industry, we offer expert policy and legal analysis to help clients who wish to understand and solve some of today’s most pressing environmental matters. We have co-authored multiple studies for the Department of Energy on various aspects of the natural gas sector, including an analysis of the regulatory framework applicable to oil and gas activities, opportunities to reduce methane emissions from upstream, midstream and downstream activities, and an inquiry into practices implemented to increase the safe and reliable production and transportation of natural gas.

SENIOR PARTNER
Elizabeth delone Paranhos is a climate change and clean air expert. As a consultant for Environmental Defense Fund Elizabeth has successfully lobbied for state, federal and international clean air and climate policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from oil and natural gas activities. In 2014 she and William Boyd formed Energy Innovation Partners to provide expert legal and policy advice on clean energy, climate and environmental policies. Elizabeth and William have co-authored two studies on the natural gas sector for the Department of Energy and currently are working on a third. The first focused on the regulatory framework governing unconventional natural gas development. The second focused on the regulatory framework for controlling methane emissions across the natural gas supply chain.
